Queens

Ok..so im not really good at this blogging thing, may just be a phase and then ill forget after a while. who knows. lol

Well i have been at queens for exactly 2 months now, and i cant belive how time flies! its crazzy... i just recently moved into my new apartment and i really like having my own space. I have a roommate, she moves in in sept. Looking forward to that! :)

So for now my days are pretty simple..the lab. hahaha I work in the lab all day and then go back to my place, have dinner then normally have a night event planned, wedesdays I go to Geneva fellowship! love it there! monday nights i volunteer at the hospital and then other nights i find something fun to do.

Good times here in Kingston. For anyone around kingston reading this and you want to hang out at any pointt let me know!! :) I am on campus and like to meet people for lunch etc. Hollaaaa!!! :)

The weather is finally starting to co-operate! buttt...the best part is yet to come... I AM GOING HOME IN 2 WEEKS!! i am really excited to sleep in my own bed and enjoy the company of my family and best friends..whom i love so much.

Recent news: Charles and Hillary got engaged! :) and im going to be a bridesmaid as long as I can get the time off lab to go! :) I am excited for them and cant wait till Jan 9th! :)

Next item of business: I love to send mail, and have been writing letters to people as much as i can ..if you happen to read this and want some mail sent to you..just send me your address!! :)

Tour De France update: OK..this is my passion..july is my fav month of the year becuase of the tour!! its amazing and cycling is awesome :)

Anyways today was stage 7..and going into the stage today Lance Armstrong (team Astana) was tied for second with Cancellara (team Saxo Bank) ...Cancellara has been leading since the first day but today things changed. Alberto Contador (also Team Astana) won the stage today, bumping him up into second spot behind Nicotini. Armstrong is currently in 3rd by 8 seconds followed by Astana teammate Levi Leipheimer .Its been a great tour and things always seem to change around this time in the race because they are in the mountains. Most riders are better in the sprint stages but the ones who can do the mountains really shine in the next few days. I am happy for team Astana, they are doing great so far and hoepfully will keep it up!

Stage 8 is tomorrow and they are in the mountains again, we will just have to wait and see what happens!
Levi and Lance leading the race: Stage 7
here there and everywhere,
Heidi
