for the LOVE of people....geeze.

"Hey, your ugly" <--yes this was said to me about a few weeks ago. I got thinking afterwards, what constitutes ugly and who is this guy to say that to someone? His friends laughed and thought it was soooooo funny that he stated the obvious (?). Im really not sure why they laughed, im guessing that is the reason. Regardless of that fact, it was mean. why do people say things to hurt other people? many say its to make themselves feel better..i think its more for a laugh and that they have the ability to leave someone speechless and hurt. BUT WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT??? People are mean, and as a friend say recently, and I quote "the world would be a much happier place if everyone loved each other." I couldnt agree more, and not just because I dont want to be called ugly anymore (although it would be nice), its because there are so many hurting people on this earth and there doesnt need to be. It could be something as small as just looking at someone and smiling when you walk by.

Im not really sure what im getting at more then LOVE people. point blank. More people would have confidence and more people would be happy. Does anyone else want to see this?

Its going to take a generation to make a change. anyone?!?!

So many of my friends are on the so-called blogging train..for whatever reason. Im not sure why I have decided to blog all of a sudden (my previous track record isnt very good), probably inspiration from my friends and family that do. its beyond me.
anyways, I was asked a very interesting question yesterday: what is your greatest fear?
Subsiquently I asked someone the same question later the same day...my friend was kinda of taken aback, not sure how to respond. My same initial reaction. What's so intimidating about the question? the fact that its scary to even think about fear and what it is that essentially scares us? Or maybe its that people dont really care enough to ask questions like that these days, to really get to know who you are and what scares you? im still not sure.

Regardless, its a very interesting question. I was intrigued.

im tired of social standards.
i wish more people would just love.
and less to judge.

that there are those that feel rejected..
we have one life. help make someone elses better.
dont have a part in abolishing someones right to happiness.
be an active part in the happiness.love. and for goodness sakes cut the crap.
there are people dieing and all you can talk about are how ugly someones clothes are. or how people dont fit in..petty.pathetic.

I cant beleive its been almost a year since i wrote last. sooo insane how time flies around here. geeze.
anways..almost summer vacay..summer #2 in kingston and is bound to be better then the first.
World cup for soccer in june and the TOUR in july..ohh what a great summer for athletics.
maybe ill be more dedicated to this blog thing.
